Smart Experts installation service

Get SmartLife Care installed – by Smart Experts

Would you prefer your new emergency call device to be put into service by someone experienced? No problem! With Smart Experts, an approved private individual will happily take care of it for you. You can book this supplementary service directly when you order your emergency call device. An installer will then get in touch with you directly to arrange an appointment. Smart Experts is a partner of SmartLife Care.

Fees

  • One-off charge of CHF 180.–
  • The costs for the Smart Experts service are settled directly with the Smart Experts installer.

The device will be delivered directly to you. Please ensure that the device is connected to the mains two hours before being put into service and have the phone numbers of your emergency contacts ready.

 


Intervention by Securitas

Assistance at your home if there are no relatives or neighbours available

The additional subscription to the intervention service gives you the peace of mind of knowing that if you make an emergency call, someone will come to your aid as quickly as possible. Sometimes, family members and friends are not able to get to you within a reasonable time frame, nor is a doctor or paramedic required. This gap is filled by the additional subscription to the intervention service provided by Securitas.

Services

  • Non-medical first aid throughout Switzerland provided by Securitas
  • On standby around the clock, 365 days a year
  • Average waiting time of 25 minutes between the emergency call and arrival of the Securitas employee

Fees

  • Intervention service subscription fee CHF 39 per month
  • One-off verification fee CHF 99
  • Intervention cost of between CHF 108 and CHF 300, depending on the location, including 20 minutes at your home
  • Each additional hour at your home CHF 80 per hour

Requirements

  • Access to your home via a key in a key safe
  • Comfort or Professional emergency call subscription (with emergency call centre)

Your subscription to the intervention service is only fully completed when you have received the emergency call device and registered it. It is managed and charged separately to your emergency call subscription. Our customer services department will contact you once we receive your order. The location and code for your key box will be stored by us and only given to the Securitas employee if they have to come to your home in response to an emergency call.

 

The emergency call centre

A professional response around the clock

Our emergency call centre is there to help, day or night, 365 days a year. If an emergency occurs, we immediately initiate all necessary steps – efficiently, professionally and exactly as agreed with you. Our specialists handle over 120,000 personal emergency calls annually.

This is what happens when an alarm reaches the emergency call centre:

  • Someone from our emergency team answers within a few seconds.
  • We discuss with the person concerned what help they need.
  • If possible, a relative is informed first and involved – only then do we offer professional help if necessary, such as an ambulance or doctor.
  • We also organise help if the person concerned cannot speak.
  • We’ll stay on the line until help arrives.
  • The customer centre can easily store important information that could be required in an emergency, such as codes for key safes and information about medical conditions or physical limitations that need to be taken into account.
  • Our emergency call centre is certified according to ISO standard 9001:2015.

You will receive personal assistance. We will always ensure that someone makes an in-person visit whenever needed, even if you are unable to speak. 

The call centre is operated by Medicall, the leading Swiss provider of emergency call services. Over 70 trained specialists ensure the highest-quality service to meet customers’ needs.
