Get SmartLife Care installed for you – by Mila, a partner service from Swisscom

Would you prefer to leave the commissioning of your new emergency call device to an experienced person? No problem! With Mila Friend, an approved private individual will happily take care of it for you.  You can book this supplementary service directly when you order your emergency call device. Your order will be transferred to the Mila agent platform. Mila will find you a suitable service partner in your area who will contact you to arrange an appointment. Mila Friend is a partner service from Swisscom.

  • The cost of the Mila Friend service will be agreed and charged directly by Mila.

The device will be delivered directly to you. Please ensure that the device is connected to the mains two hours before commissioning and have the telephone numbers of your emergency contacts ready.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed appointment. If cancelled later, Mila will charge part of the amount. Cancellation must be communicated directly to Mila.

A professional response around the clock

Our emergency call centre is there to help, day or night, 365 days a year. If an emergency occurs, we immediately initiate all necessary steps – efficiently, professionally and exactly as agreed with you. Our specialists handle over 120,000 personal emergency calls annually.

This is what happens when an alarm reaches the emergency call centre:

  • Someone from our emergency team answers within a few seconds.
  • We discuss with the person concerned what help they need.
  • If possible, a relative is informed first and involved – only then do we offer professional help if necessary, such as an ambulance or doctor.
  • We also organise help if the person concerned cannot speak.
  • We’ll stay on the line until help arrives.
  • The customer centre can easily store important information that could be required in an emergency, such as codes for key safes and information about medical conditions or physical limitations that need to be taken into account.
  • Our emergency call centre is certified according to ISO standard 9001:2015.

You will receive personal assistance. We will always ensure that someone makes an in-person visit whenever needed, even if you are unable to speak. 

The call centre is operated by Medicall, the leading Swiss provider of emergency call services. Over 70 trained specialists ensure the highest-quality service to meet customers’ needs.
